OPEN HOUSE at C4IOE’s New Office

We'd like to thank everyone for stopping by our Open House on Sept 9th. It was a great success and we enjoyed meeting each and every one of you! 

For those who couldn't make it, here's what you missed.

Visitors were able to check out our new space at, 310 S. Main Street, Suite 2B in Zelienople, PA, which also included an additional office suite that is available for rent and an apartment suite that has since be occupied.

All three rooms were decorated with artwork and information on various local artists including

  • Diane Smith
  • Oscar Salas - digital art,
  • and artists from the Bottle Brush Gallery including: 
    • Cynthia Weidner - abstract multi-media
    • Doug Brown - watercolor
    • C.Keith Jones - watercolor, oil, acrylic
    • Alyson Thiel - abstract multi-media
    • Nina Sowieski - photographer
    • Amanda Joy Wolf - ceramics
    • Anne M Slanina PhD and Lisa Akers Slanina - Children's Books

We also enjoyed music from local musicians: The Incline, Monday Blues Revue and the Fabulous Gunslingers. A few members from Fabulous Gunslingers were on hand later in the afternoon to sell and sign their cds and some of their merchandise. We had delicious food all throughout the day including some fresh baked goods straight from Deb's kitchen, lunch delivered by the Pizza and Sub Shop (just down the street on Main St) and later some hot Hors D'oeuvres from Herbe's Z-Towne Cafe. After 4, Gary and Eirlys from Rustic Acres Winery had a wine tasting with over 20 different wines from their winery. They were even able to convert a few non-wine drinkers! At the end of the night we drew tickets for the various items in our silent auction which included several different Rustic Acres wines, some custom C4IOE merchandise, gift cards from Sheetz, Chili's, DQ, and UnCurl; a 4GB jump drive, and some scratch off lottery tickets. Great conversation was had and some useful connections were made. We definitely look forward to the next time we get to have an event like this.
